In the course of studying Matthew, we came across the story of the woman who begged to have her daughter healed. Christ told her he couldn’t help her because she wasn’t part of his mission, but she wouldn’t take no for an answer. After proving her faith with a little verbal jousting, Christ gave her what she asked of him.
Matthew 15: 27: Then Jesus answered and said unto her, O woman, great is thy faith: be it unto thee even as thou wilt. And her daughter was made whole from that very hour.
A friend of mine in the class brought up another time someone was blessed because of their persistence.
