Former BYU tight end Gordon Hudson will be enshrined this weekend into the College Football Hall of Fame.

Hudson will be joined by 23 others who will be honored in South Bend, Ind.

At BYU, Hudson tied the NCAA record for receptions by a tight end in a single season with 67. As a junior, he was a unanimous All-Western Athletic Conference and Consensus All-America selection. In his senior year, Hudson again earned Consensus All-America honors, along with fellow Hall of Fame member Steve Young, becoming the first two consensus All-America selections in BYU history. Hudson still holds NCAA records for most passes caught per game by a tight end (5.4), most career yards per game by a tight end (75.3) and most yards in a game by a tight end (259 vs. Utah).
