Primary General Presidency News Conference0
We just got finished attending the press conference for the new Primary Presidency. A few photos are below, as well as a few bits of information from the Q&A session we attended.
Each woman was asked in turn to describe their feelings at having been sustained in the new call. Sister Wixom spoke gratefully of the past presidencies, and testified that teachers and families can bless and strengthen children. In a surprisingly touching gesture, Sister Wixom held both counselors’ hands and said that the only requirements for this calling are to love the Lord and to love children. Sister Stevens spoke of the passages in 3 Nephi in which the Savior demonstrated his love for children, while Sister Esplin affirmed their intentioned to go forward with “much” prayer.
