For the second time in less than a year, Mormon church leaders have met with a President Barack Obama family member in the White House to present a volume of history.

First lady Michelle Obama was presented with a volume of her family history Wednesday morning by Elder Dallin H. Oaks of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints' Quorum of the Twelve Apostles.

Also participating was Sen. Harry Reid, D-Nev.

In July, Mormon church President Thomas S. Monson joined Elder Oaks and Reid in presenting the U.S. president with his family history.
