Mormon Life says: His comics aren't LDS...but he is.

"Drabble" creator Kevin Fagan had never taken a single art class when in 1979 he became the youngest syndicated cartoonist ever.

"I was 21 years old, scared to death because I didn't know if I could do a strip every day for the rest of my contract and, if all goes well, the rest of my life." Fagan said. "It was kind of daunting."

"Drabble," which now runs in almost 200 newspapers, including the Deseret News, and follows the life of Ralph, his wife Honeybunch and their kids Norman, Patrick and Penny, is a family-friendly comic strip that Fagan said emulates his personal life and drawing style.
