"I love the feeling of creating something that is uniquely my own," says singer-songwriter Debra Fotheringham.

Fotheringham has developed a style of her own. Her soothing clear voice, versatility on the guitar and thought-provoking songs set her apart.

As the ninth of 11 children, from American Fork, Utah, Fotheringham has a creative imagination and tact for writing. From the first grade on, she was invited to writer' conferences because of her gift for fiction writing.

Fotheringham also developed a passion for music from a young age. When she was 14 she taught herself to play the guitar and played nonstop.

In junior high, Fotheringham merged her two passions -- writing and music. After writing her first song, she was hooked.
