Mormon Life says: Makes me think: what gift would I bring to a meeting with the President?
Chase Walker and Helen Hovenier met President Barack Obama on Dec. 17, 2009.
They brought the President a limited edition of "Journals: Volume 1" of the Joseph Smith Papers.
Hovenier's father, Jeffrey Hovenier, works as director for Central and Eastern European affairs on the National Security Council, while Walker's father, Jeffrey Walker, works on the Joseph Smith Papers Project.
